He resided 53 Mimosa Street in 1940 in Fulham, LDN.⁽¹³⁾ He was a Warehouseman, Marks & Spencer in 1940 in Marble Arch, LDN. ⁽¹⁴⁾ Multiple Stores Warehouseman He has reference number 4. He was also known as Kenneth Lancelot.⁽¹⁵⁾ Lancelot was a family joke Small mine opened at Coalbrookvale (1 mile Nantyglo). He worked there for a time. Mother not happy about this. Then worked chemist - 'on the wireless'. He unemployed (?after chemist?). Mother concerned - tells Blod he very depressed because couldn't get a job. Blod says 'leave it to me.' She working in Croydon at that time - 'for the Lord Mayor'. Spoke to uncle Bert, who worked as hairdresser at Selfridges. Bert went to see M & S. Was told 'if he's Welsh, send him up!'
